Here there was an old doorstation with a specific back box in an odd size. Our customer wanted to upgrade to a modern solution that was much smaller. How do we cover up this big hole now?
The Solution
The old back box had no options to cover it, so our lead tech Cameron designed a 3d printed back plate to adapt the old back box to the new video doorbell mounting plate.
Final Product
With a stainless steel cover plate to match the finishes of the home, the customer is now happy with their custom doorbell that “looks so much better than the original.”

Custom Enclosure
This device needed to be safely mounted outside of its normal conditions. This enclosure protects it.
Another Doorbell
This doorbell needed to be mounted to a rough stucco texture. We 3d scanned the wall and printed a textured back plate to match and seal the box from the elements.
Gate Station Mods
This gate station gooseneck was too low for the camera to see people driving tall vehicles. A printed wedge to angle the unit up solved the problem that otherwise would have required metal or concrete work.
Outdoor Enclosure
A weather-resistant enclosure to protect sensitive electronics on an outdoor TV.
