Alexa Controlled
Just a few years ago, the idea of speaking out loud to control your home was a concept that could only be found in Sci-Fi, but with the recent advent of smart speakers such as Amazon's Alexa, it has become a reality. The Alexa is a powerful device on it's own, but when specially programmed and integrated with other smart home devices, it's power increases exponentially. You have the ability to do anything, with nothing but your voice. You can control devices individually, or, using pre-programmed "profiles" take care of what were once complicated routines in seconds by speaking aloud! For example, you could say "Alexa, turn off the house" and magically, your shades close, your lights turn off, your doors lock, and power sucking devices like TV's shut down and, if you want, your room speakers start playing white noise or your favorite music for falling asleep.
